Good idea .. Could use one of those unused metering rods to get the lens off ... wait... Ouch, until the bulb cools

Anyone know if the dome light wiring runs driver or passenger side up to it? When I got my car dome light was pulled and cut out, was thinking of running some of the modern LED under dash lights instead of the dome. But thinking the dome was cut out because the door poppers would affect functionality?
driver's side. You could always run a new circuit to run separate of the door poppers.
I was thinking about that, but wanted to try and have the functionality of the lights coming on when the doors open
not sure how the poppers would affect the dome light, but have never worked with them... do the use the door switch to apply power only when the door is closed? you could maybe run a separate switch to run just the dome light....
I'm not really sure either, but I was guessing since the builder put a blown fuse in the block for the door chime indicator and cut the dome light out that it meant they were affected by the poppers. The LED lights have their own controller that I can turn on as I want but wanted to find a way to wire them up to light when the door came open. Think I'll just have to play with it once I get my other wiring figured out.
