I tore the drivers side down on Friday, removed pretty much everything, door handle, lock, drivers glass, belt moulding, taillight, headlight bezel, interior trim in door jamb, etc. Started on the dents and crease on Saturday, got everything pulled out and had to do some hammer/dolly work on the door to get it good and straight so I didn't have to use a lot of bodyfill. Had all the bodywork done on Saturday. Masked up car on Monday and primed the damaged area. Blocked off the primer on Tuesday and painted Tuesday night. I am quite happy with how it turned out, and the paint and pearl matched perfectly. It was nice to have the insurance company paying me to work on my own car 😀
Heres a couple pics

Still have to wet sand the side of the car to remove some orange peel and a couple specs of dust, polish it back up and put everything back together. Hoping to have it all done tomorrow then I can drive it a bit before it goes into winter hibernation. Damn snow LOL.

You did that and it looks real good,i gotta learn to paint..

Thank you. The paint part is easy, the hard part is getting what is under the paint nice and straight. A good paint job is all in the prep work.

That is a beautiful car man. I actually am more of a T-type fan over the GN. I can't wait to see more of this thing. Where's The interior and more engine bay pics. Can't Wait to get started on mine.

Thanks lildude! I like the T's more then the GN's as well, not a fan of just black. Unless it has an "X" at the end of it. Heres some interior and underhood shots

I have to agree with you on that. The white with the blacked out trim looks sweet. That and lots of people don't expect a white Regal to whistle when on the gas. 😀 The general public only knows about the black GN's and GNX's. I have had people argue with me about the engine in my car saying that it didn't come from the factory that way, one guy was a GN owner :wtf: . I just usually walk away from them at that time.
