I'm even tring to use the automatic console but I will need to cut it for the hump I'm putting in the tunnel. I got it in there but I don't like that I need to drop the cross member to ajust linkage or do a pit pack

i think I'll cut the console like a 70 442 and mold in the tunnel with matching carpet the car needs rugs anyway.im trying to stay with a factory look ( what GM should have made) so yesterday at the swap meet I picked up 2 s-10 stick shift tilt steering columns for $20 and one has the wheel for my crew cab and I'm going to make a g-body tilt Cruse manual column. Tedious and annoying yes but growing up in Jersey and being a car Guy I know more than enough about them to do it

Is it an F41 car, it will definitely help? I am sure you know that 7.5" is on borrowed time unless he upgraded to a 8.5" or 9". Very cool to find a W30 crate motor, a 72 version would have 8.5 to 1 and a milder cam, correct? Plus a M-21 4 SPD, very interesting.
Yes it is f41 it's a pretty well loaded car it even has power seat

The free 8.5" rear is huge. That 7.625" rear, though slightly better still won't live long. What gearing are you putting in the 8.5"?

I'm not shore yet I need to see what it has I'm guessing it has 3.42? I'm thinking I'm going to run a 29-9-15 with a 3.73 but I'm not sure yet
