Now what
What issue?

I barely made it home, I freaked out cause of the smoke. Once it cooled I removed that I guess insulation wrap and found a slit on the hose. No money and no time, I notched the bad part out and back on the road.

New sending unit hopefully fixes my gauge problem

Just a quick reply even if it’s myself, it didn’t fix my problem. I have a volt meter and did the trouble shooting even took out the gauge from the cluster and I narrowed it down to The electrical print dash. But for now I think I’ll go with a gauge of my own. Wish I would of tested the sending unit and saved 75 bucks, however the sock was dirty so I guess... u can’t win them all!
