Cleaning my garage up after work. Then headed back up to the job to blast a few more parts. Gonna work on the el all weekend finishing up a few things. Not much left to do. Fellas do me a fave and only quote a single pic. It clutters the thread up with the same pics and some folks don't have dsl or cable Internet hookup. Thanks.

Bout to head back to work and blast a few parts....

Had to use aircraft stripper to get the paint off. It really bit into the metal after I blasted em

My backing plates. Braking em down and then blasting em. Gonna use the same paint I did on Mel's. Krylon "tough coat".

Lookin pretty sharp! Lovin the titanium blue/silver on the PAB's. The El will be pretty close to this color...

Headed back to work to blast the parts. I'll get some more updated pics in a lil bit

HAHA!! King me!!! Back form sand blasting. Parts look great. Couldnt find that tough coat so I'll just hit em with some caliper paint. Side note: the backing plates had the dust shield siliconed to it. I dont want to slice thru the silicone so my bp's will be all black or all aluminum. Also got the caliper paint off the rear Camaro SS caliper. Ready for a respray... I'll get some pics up later. Gettin sleepy

Clearanced the spindle for the Kore 3 kit. But this is for the Kore kit that fits the 13.39" rotors. I have the Kore3 hybrid big brake brackets coming and may not need to clearance anything....

Plenty of room now for this 13.39 rotor bracket kit

Primered em. Waiting to get some Krylon "Tough Coat" in aluminum..

Broke the backing plates down to clean em up in the blaster. This set had some silicone on it to hold the "dust shield" to the back plate. I tore one side down as far as i could and cleaned all the parts up. I left the other side together and blasted it. I liked how mels turned out with the aluminum and black, but you wont even see these once mounted to my Grand National 8.5. All black will be fine...

I left the other backing plate together and blasted it....

Just waiting on the braided lines, rear rotors and Hawk pads and I can get this going once I pull the grand national rear out the SS...

Thanks Fam!! I wanted to spray my backing plates like I did yours but they are siliconed together. Wont see em anyways but I wanted some really nice pics before we put it all together. The aluminum and black looks great together... I have some of that Tough Coat coming. Should be here by Saturday. Maybe I'll slice thru the silicone and do em like yours...

Thanks Saint! Yeah bro...I gotta get a sand blaster for the shop! Any lil parts pulled can be restored to damn near new like condition and then painted. The paint sticks like glue!!!

"Lil" bro rolled thru and dropped off the Kore3 kit for me and my Kore3 "FlexKore" braided lines for the El's front/rear brake upgrade. Waiting for the rear 12" rotors to come in and theni need some Hawk pads. Heres how we looking so far

Krylon Tough Coat in aluminum. Love this finish
