Thanks fellas!!! Gettin there slowly but surely. It's the lil things that's holding it up. Gonna try to wake up in the morning and hit the hose guy up for the rest of my braided hose and grommets for the oil cooler lines. Then hit harbor freight up for some shrink wrap and other lil supplies. This weekend I might pull the rear from the SS and get it ready for the "LS Customs" Rear disk brake mod. Oh trust me on this. Foose has that ish on lock!!! Can't wait! Posting up from work so no real updates. Just waiting on the lil stuffs to come in.

Thanks for checking back...

update time sir

Daaaang! Ok ok!!!! Hahaha! Man I've been super lazy these past couple of weeks. Foose came thru with the rear disc setup and we worked a deal on his built 7.5. Imma see if we can pull it from his el this weekend. Maybe Sunday. If we can, I'll Yank the 8.5 from the SS, drop my 411's in and start the rear disc conversion for the 8.5 rear. Then drop the 8.5 in the Elco. The 7.5 will go in the ss temporarily(building a 9" rear with skip). It's really not much left to do. This working nights schedule has me sleeping all day during the week. I'll be off for 10 days starting December 24 and will be goin hard on it then. Thanks for checking back!

Cant sleep so I headed back to work and cleaned the brake setup Foose dropped off for me. Taped em up nice and blasted em. Came out clean. Then came home and started tearing em apart. Clean the rubber boots up, greased the lil shafts and Im about to paint em up. I think Auto Zone is open now... Here's what I got so far...These will be going on my 8.5 Grand National rear later on. We still need the backing plate for em..Blasting that and painting it up as well...
Skip cleaned em up a lil for me....

Polished the ends up a lil bit...

I ended up giving Mel the other braided setup I just had done. I took the 90 degree hose end line and passed that on to him as well. Then I had the hose guy make me a return line with a straight end. That way I can loop the hose over to the low pressure return. My line off the power steering pump points up. Mels March setup points towards the front of the truck so the 90 degree fitting worked better for him. Enjoy MEl!!

Mocked up..

I must have been pretty sleepy cuz I didnt wake up until 7:30pm!! Just in time to make it to autozone for some paint. VHT red caliper paint and some Silver Titanium blue paint. Heres what I got. (it was really too cold to be spraying, but I was bored) The paint will have plenty of time to dry out and cure before I'm ready to put it all back together. Just gonna let em hang in the shop til my vacation. With the sand blasted surface the paint should stick like glue... Nuff talk...

I painted the ends of the stock brake line hose in red, but will most likely swap to a braided kit...Nothing really too exciting.
