I just scored an 87 Grand Prix for $350! I'm trying gauge how much it would cost to restore the engine, Trans, rear-end back to its original off the show room floor look and feel. I’m not trying to race nor do doughnuts in the middle of the street. I want something that’s reliable and nice to drive. It does need some body work also but i am going to save that for last. Also, what are your thoughts on completing a restoration? Should the powertrain be restored first or should body work be done first. I want to do this in stages. I’m not rich! Any input on this will be greatly appreciated!

hmmmmm $350? post pics so we know what you have to work with?

The car was sitting for a year at a repair shop because the lady that owned it didn't have the money to pay to get it out. They just wanted to get rid of it! It was running after they fix it. The engine looks ok just dirty. Thanks
