Do you plan on using the computer from the donar car? If not it really won't be that bad of a sawp and it's been done by many.. if you don't use the computer make sure you get a lock up wiring set up for the transmission...Good luck with the swap and keep us posted 8)

im not really sure how im going to do it im going to do the best/easiest way to do the swap??? any ideas?

Mechanicaly it should be pretty straight forward. i think the biggest challenge will be to keep it FI or Not.

how hard is it to switch it to carbuerated instead of fuel injected??? or would it be easier to leave it fuel injected?

I believe the 4L60E will require a computer to shift it, otherwise it would be a 700r.
Do you have the engine/trans/computer already?

If I were going to swap, and I will be someday, the LS series would be my choice. I have not decided if I will use F.I. or carb yet, it depends on what I run across as a package/price

Lots of info out there google it, you will be amazed what you can find out.

LT1 swaps are fairly straight forward. By all means keep the efi, it's easier and cheaper than switching to a carb.
You can buy a simple plug and play harness or just use a factory one and program out what you don't use. If you keep the ac the cross member on the passenger side requires a small bump with the ball pean and some heat to clear it. Just remove the rear ac bracket and use stock 350 mounts. The rear bracket isn't really needed and can actually make the unit too stiff causing seal failure. You can usually use your transmission mount with an add on bracket or get a custom unit. I've done a bunch of LT1 swaps, love the motors.
