99 vortec 7.4 454 in 87-88 Cutlass supreem

I just recently got my hands on a 99 vortec 454 wit 4l80 e trans i was wondering if this swap is possible.

Is the 4l80e from a 2wd? Keeping the FI? As far as getting the motor in the car, yes it can be done.

no a 99 3500 it was 4x4 throu transfer case are u asking am i going to keep it fuel injected ?

This would be the route I would go with a G-Body; if I had the money.

Not sure on whether you have a 2wd tail housing will be the right length. I would bump the compression up to 9 to 1, pretty sure 8 to 1 factory. Are those peanut port heads? I don't know the BBC that well. Unless you keep it FI, an Olds 403 or 455 would be easier and much more low end torque, 455 anyways, than the BBC 454.
