The only bad thing about the Jag IRS is that the bushings are total sh*t. Yes, that is easy to solve, but I do worry a bit about using any parts made by British Leyland. Interestingly though, the old XJ chassis stayed in production until very recently, even underpinning an Aston Martin ( DB7?). It made it's debut in the mid 70's as a replacement for the old XKE. Also, it is a very common find in U Pull it's as most of these cars died an early death from electrical problems, and many sat in people's yards for years before being junked.

You could find you a junked Chrysler/Dodge LX (300/Magnum/Charger) and figure out how to modify this bad boy to fit underneath :D Probably more hassle than its worth though! The 4-bolt installation has to be intriguing

Or, you could get it out of the car it originally came from: Mercedes-Benz E class. The LX platform was actually a past generation Mercedes, so the older Benz may be prevalent in junkyards where the LX may not.
