A/c Belt length

I recently cut my belt on my 86 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme for the a/c and air pump. Im working on by-passing the air pump and would like a belt to go just from the crank and what not to just the A/c and not hit the air pump Can anybody help me out with what belt I should go for to accommodate this? thanks alot!

I try to get close with a piece of string or wire then go to the auto parts place five times to get it right.
