My car came from the factory with a v-6 and the owner before me put a v-8 but took out all the a/c parts off.
Any tips on how can i get a a/c bracket? Plus i don't even know what size engine i have and what kind of car it came out of. MUCH HELP NEEDED!!!

You have a small block Chevy. On the drivers side behind head there is a section that attaches to transmission. There will be a raised set of numbers. Tell us what those numbers are and we can tell you what the engine is. Some 305's have 5.0L stamped in that area also but can't remember what side. You need ALL ac brackets and parts. My recommendation is to go to a salvage and find a 1980s era chevy truck, blazer, suburban, van, caprice, Camaro, etc. You need everything with hardware too. The ac compressor has some odd length, threads, and sizes so finding it all together is your best bet. Looking at your exhaust manifold, it looks like a 305. Is the timing tab in the middle on top of harmonic balancer? I can take pics tomorrow in the daylight

I might add also that the bar that bolts to the top of the upper ac bracket to intake is important. It keeps the compressor from shaking back and forth when ac clutch is engaged. I know this from experience a long time ago. It vibrated so bad without it, I could feel it in the steering wheel.
