I've been looking and pricing driers, evaporators, and compressors, etc. But will the compressors that I've been looking at for an 86 cutlass bolt on to the 72 455 that's in it? Do i need the ac brackets from the OG motor or will the brackets that i got with the 455 work.
Also the entire system has been open since i purchased the car. I plan on replacing the drier and compressor and maybe the condenser but would it be necessary to replace the evaporator also? And did these cars have orifice tubes or something of the equivalent.
