I may just trade it to somebody on craigslist for some little beater accord or something that is reliable. In the past month I have replaced the EGR Valce, ignition coil, ignition module, replaced all the sparkplugs, and it still acts just as crazy as it ever has. I wonder if anyone has heard of a problem like this.
Every morning the car will start fine but has a horrible hesitation until the engine is warm, no problem i can sit and let it warm up.... but then the engine will not start again unless it is cold, so I can't shut the car off when I go to the grocery store or anything because I will be stranded for a couple hours.
Also if the weather is hot outside, then the idle is extremely rough and the car will die like 10 times while i am trying to let the engine warm up to a good operating temperature. But, if the weather is cold outside the idle will be extremely high, like 15-1700 RPM until it gets up to a good operating temp, then it will usually die a couple times when I trying to shift it into drive before I can actually take off down the road. I am not sure if the 2 issues are related but since they both deal with temperature I am guessing they are.
I love this car but I have never heard of a car that acts like this and the mechanics I have asked about it say they have no clue and want to charge me and arm and a leg to figure it out.
It is a fuel injected V6 by the way.
