Quick question for my peeps here! I am doing an engine swap from my V6 to a 383 stroker and I want to keep the AC. When my V6 was in I had bought the whole new AC unit replacing it with the exact parts. My question is, can I use that AC compressor with the new engine?

The AC compressor is on the passenger side for a V6 and that is where I prefer to have it regardless of what engine is in there.
I used a new replacement compressor for a 307 Olds in my 86' Regal which should be the same as your V6 compressor I then made brackets to work with some LS AC brackets, I made my own AC lines but you will need the longer AC lines for a 307 to fit.
Four Seasons part #55479.

These are the brackets from ICT billet for a LS but I modified them to work on my engine and had to space them out to be exactly inline with the pulleys.
I ended up raising the compressor for more clearance after getting the engine in.
