I need to buy new AC lines with accumulator for use with a Sanden compressor. Anyone done this? New, factory R4 compressor lines are available but i would rather not cut up the factory lines with adapters / fittings to make it work. I would appreciate your insight on lessons learned. I did a search but couldn't find anything relevant. Thanks

You can buy the hose by the foot and buy the fittings from Vintage Air. Mock it up and then find someone local to crimp everything for you. I would use the stock accumulator and liquid line.

Any good hose shop can make the
Ions up for you. I went to my local hose man and had all new lines made.

Thanks for that info. I'll look into vintage air.

You're welcome. We put Vintage Air in my brother's 78 Z28. His car is an LS swap so the hoses ended up being custom. We just bought the fittings, mocked everything up, marked the fittings and hoses for clocking of the fittings and then I took everything to a shop that made hydraulic hoses and had them crimp everything. If you get stuck on what you need give them a call. I found their customer service to be quite good.
