adhesive for replacing weather stripping

replacing the old rubber weather stripping around my doors any advise on the best adhesive to use. i purchase gorilla construction adhesive from home depot that's used in a caulk gun. on youtube some guys are using 3m black adhesive. any opinions on what works best

I'd suggest the 3M 08008 black weather strip adhesive, 2nd would be the 3m 08001 yellow weather strip adhesive. I've never had an issue with 3M products for weather strips.

3M weatherstrip adhesive available at any parts store. Let it tack up a bit before installation, per the instructions.

3-M, the best theres been for decades!

I just used some of the black 3m on my 79 Bu. No issues after about 6 mos.

Both 3M's work well but I would use black so that if any excess squeezes out it won't stand out like the yellow.
