Adjusting for G body door sagging > Any Tricks?

Make sure you get the wider spring tool like the one pictured. I have a chrome one and it's too narrow for a Gbody spring. If you let the sag go too long it will damage the latch as well.

Gotcha, I did a check of my upper driver side hinge. It's pretty bad. Cam is worn, Hinge is worn
to a football shape on the upper portion. Bushing is shot. In order to get things done rather quickly
I purchased a new upper hinge. I will replace it and then rework the old one for resale.
The lower hinge is fine. These are pics of the pass side door gaps as compared to the gaps on the driverside. And hard to close is an understatement. It always wants to close at the first detent.

I had a droopy DS door too. We dicked around for many hours with new pins and bushings, tried straightening the upper hinge. Ended up putting new hinges and the door lines up perfectly. It took many hours to get it just right but it was worth the effort.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. After I got a good look at what was bad it was way more than
pins and bushings were going to fix. So I just popped for a new hinge. Tracing around the old hinge
prior to moving anything and also placing some strips of masking tape on the door edges, fender and 1/4 panel
will help to align the door back up. I will also have to adjust the striker and window stops as these were adjusted
a few months ago to align with the sagging door. But I have some other work to do while the inner panel is off.
