I have a few aluminum drums that are out of spec. I'm curious what he charges to reline.

The guy is pretty old school, call him on the phone.

Don't quote me on this... but if I recall correctly he said he'd give me $60 a drum for a core, but the new drums were around $250 ea.... that was probably a year ago.

He got back to me, $300 per drum and about a 5 week turnaround. Knew it wouldn’t be cheap but wasn’t expecting that.

SCREW DAT!!!! The weight savings isn't worth it. You can put a hydraulic roller cam in and make more power to overcome the weight.

I'm glad I found a set of good used ones for about $40 less than 10 years ago. Did a fresh cut to ensure they were round & good to go.
