And I have received a response... The guy is playing games. He says someone is coming to get it in 2 hours, but if I pay $1750, he'll hold it for me...LOL! This would make a great addition to my GBody collection, but I don't play games... Moving on-

I just had this happen to me about 3 months ago. I offered a 1K on a car that the seller was asking $1300 for. He ended up selling it for $800 and never called me again - oh well. My wife said it was my sunny personality that probably scared him away 🙂

nailhead.. you nailed it! This guy texted me back, and his deal fell through. I struck a deal to buy this car for $800. I will be travelling again tomorrow to pick it up. So it went from $1500 to $1750 to $800. SOLD!! I'm already loaded, and will be headed out in the morning after I get home from work. I'll post up the results, when I get it home. My driveway is looking like a flashback from the 70's, LOL
