Took another to the scrapyard 8)

Yep, it was a 85 442. Yes, I took all usable parts off it before it went. No, I did not "save" the vin and title. Scrapyard checks the title against the vin and keeps the title. Never before have I seen one this rusted. It was even rustproofed. I think they poured salt water into it instead of rustproofing :lol:

Just think, i'm making all the other 85 442's that much rarer and more valuable 8)

Nope, I removed the 7.5 that was installed when the previous owner removed the 8.5

Me and a friend just picked up an 87 cutty that was scrapyard bound......now it's dirt track bound muahaha It's more evil of a car than it would have ever been in its life

Do you still have that trim piece from the side of the car that runs the length of the body?

do the rear small windows have the rubber/plastic trim around the crome trim if so would like the windows

Only trim piece on the side of the car is what was on the door, and it was trash.

Quarter windows are spoken for.

Seriously if you think about it, they only made 3000 85 442's and I know for sure many that have already been parted/scrapped. Many say they'll never have the value of the so called 'true' muscle cars of old, but I would think these 80's 442's would have to be worth something in the future because they're becoming so rare.

On another note, I would've loved to see that 85 442 in a demo derby! That's something you don't see every day.
