Any difference in G-Body & Grand Cherokee 800 steering boxes?

Thats an 800 and you can use the Jeep box if you swap and reuse your G pitman arm. I haven't run a Jeep box in a G yet but love the one I put in my '66 El Camino.
Sweet! Thanks! I'll head to the u-pull, and grab one. Would the GC box be o-ring or IF fittings?

One other little issue I'm dealing with: line pressure. I'm thinking that I should be able to swap the pressure valve into the newer pump, no?

Line pressure probably isnt critical. GC will have Orings.

Some Jeep pumps have a remote reservoir.

GRAB the valve from the back of the pump they are different!!!!!!

1. They are made for the O-ring
2. They have a larger diameter flow hole, no or only one shim that increases the pressure that you will need when you make quick turns.

I went through this headache no to long ago.

Anyone found a reasonable source for the pitman arm new? Everything I'm seeing for an 800 box in a G body is over $100. Not a lot of G bodies in salvage around here anymore....
