I bought a modified Astro steering shaft from a member here a couple weeks ago, and obviously I'm going to use it. I'm just wondering if there is any reason to keep the old steering shaft before I toss it out with all the other rusted suspension parts.

Maybe you can use it as a TURNA wacker, just pull the plastic cover off first. ;)

There might be someone out there that could use it. Just charge the shipping.

It's free to anyone who wants to make their steering wheel feel like it's connected to the steering box by a wet noodle!

A disc kit, and an upper rebuild kit (figure out a dust boot) and it's good to go, quieter than the alternatives.

I still have mine as well..............Christmas is coming...............not sure what to get the EX but now..........you've given me an idea.

It's a symbolic gift of what I got out of the divorce....you know...............she got the gold mine and I got this steering shaft..........

If selling remember.........

mark it OEM and put it in a GM PARTS bag...............and note original grease included............collectible, vintage, and priceless
