I would take it some where else I don't know about where your at but aamco is a bunch of crooks around here they are like the maaco of the trans world lol

Yeah the guy didn't have me totally convinced. But the trans is being a pain to get right.

don't play with the TV cable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just adjust it according to the proper procedure and leave it alone. if it doesn't shift right, then there's another problem.

bought a throttle cable bracket with detent mount. was debating on getting a b&m shifter, but i need to save money for roller tip 1.6 rockers and arp bolts, and headers.......... :?

very little each weekend for the last few weekends...just got the motor/headers back in the regal on ssturday, then on sunday I tried fixing what everyone told me was just a vacuum leak on the truck... I was right all along, no leaks, just jumped timing.... :blam: ...

Covered up both my G-Bodies & said to hell with it for a couple years! My income is makin me sick. both me & the wife are workin really hard & barely makin our basic bills. Everyone in the office is doin just fine tho! Seems like all the manual labor workers in this country are going broke & all the desk workers are living in a lap of luxury. I'm living on peanuts, while my dispatcher buys a new Hummer H3, takes personal days & a vacation, but am told he only makes $10 an hr. Yeah right! Sorry for all the rant folks, but I'm gettin really tired of this crap! 4 yrs ago, I would've dropped the truck off & told them to shove it up their rear, cause I would've had a driveway full of cars to fix to make money, houses to remodel & fix, tree's to cut, prune & trim & could've sold anything I put up for sale. At this time, I can only rely on the truck I drive & watch everyone in the office live like nothings wrong & thats it. I know other parts of the country are poor too, but when is it gonna turn around for the people who physically take care of our precious land? Just my 02.

Well, I was cut to 21 hours a week now, so the Cutlass is on hold for a bit. However, I have been helping my neighbor on his 1973 Camaro RS over the last week. We put a fresh 350 in it. It was one of those typical things that happen. I was going to go out and do nothing ( I was bored), but saw him outside and decided to go over and talk to him. Well, he had an engine swinging from a hoist, so we put it in together.

As for my projects, I will soon be starting a thread for anyone who wants to see it about what I am doing next. I have a 1979 AMC Spirit with a bad 360 in it, but I have a fresh 360 left over from a Javelin AMX project that never got off the ground. I will be installing it with the parts I have around the house to try and get it running so I can sell it. I may not have money to put in it, but I probably have enough parts here to put it together without spending more than maybe $50. The car has a 3.54 geared AMC model 20 rear in it, Hooker Super Comp headers, 2.5 in duals with Flowmasters, and the Spirit AMX suspension in it. The engine is a stock rebuild with a Comp 268h cam, a Performer intake, Carter high flow fuel pump, Milodon water pump, and the high flowing "Dogleg" heads with 2.02/1.68 valves. I will be using my Edelbrock 600 carb on it. Oh, and the transmission in it right now is a Torqueflite 727, but I am swapping it out for a Torqueflite 904 I have and I will be selling the two 727's I have. I hope to raise enough money selling off the car and some of my AMC stuff to be able to finish the Cutlass.

Does the H3 qualify as a commercial vehicle? I heard business owners can buy em new for less than a kia, wasn't sure which ones.

I had to sell a few things myself in the last months, so long to the ultra glide and my nice DIS I was going to install on my truck, o well, still got the cutlass.
