anyone running a milodon 7 quart pan on a bbo

On my current build I have a Canton Racing Products road race oil pan that has trap doors and baffles to keep the oil around the pickup.

I also have a baffle that installs between the oil pump and rear main cap that keeps the oil from climbing up the rear of the pan and getting into the crank.

Prior to that I just had a stock pan and stock oil pump and never had a problem.

What oil pump are you using? Does the oil pressure drop as soon as you launch or does it happen after you've been running it at a higher rpm?

It happens on launch. Were did you get your baffle that goes between the oil pump and main cap?

I bought a kit off Ebay years ago. Came with a crank scraper as well but I didn't use that.

I don't normally refer someone to Mondello since they can be so overpriced and in general a terrible place to do business with, HOWEVER, they sell just the pan baffle for $29.00. I typically have had good luck spending money in small amounts there (less than $50)

When installed how far does the baffle stick out. Do you think that would cure my oil problem?

Well got my motor taken out and got the old oil pan off. I made me a baffle instead of buying me one. It's similar to the one from monodello. I hope it works as good as I'm hoping.
