On my current build I have a Canton Racing Products road race oil pan that has trap doors and baffles to keep the oil around the pickup.
I also have a baffle that installs between the oil pump and rear main cap that keeps the oil from climbing up the rear of the pan and getting into the crank.
Prior to that I just had a stock pan and stock oil pump and never had a problem.
What oil pump are you using? Does the oil pressure drop as soon as you launch or does it happen after you've been running it at a higher rpm?
