Anyone use rubber trans cooler lines?

I have used the rubber hose on my transmission cooler for years on my '67 GTO. Never had any problems with it. Just route out of the way and make sure you use quality clamps and check for leaks occasionally.

I think braided line and fittings have become far less expensive over the years and making lines just takes a little finesse and is definitely not hard to work with once you know how to properly set them up and honestly I have never once heard the term "ugly" when I open my hood at a car show.
You can see my trans lines mounted to the inner wheelwell.
I second that....rubber may work fine but with a little patience anybody can build an line. If tastefully done it can help set off an engine bay for sure!!! Its also overkill psi wise so no issues with the lines messing up.

Well I found I NAPA makes direct replacement pre-bent, pre-flared lines for most of what I need so that's great, as I hate flaring and fabbing lines. I didn't like the sound of rubber from the start (though I have used it in some pretty hack ways myself, must admit, lol).
