Quick question...I know I should run power wire to amplifier on opposite side of the vehicle from RCA's. Does it make a difference what side I run remote wire?

It's best to run power & remote together & RCA's on the other side.

okay thank you very much for the reply

Yes. Run the powers on one side and the RCA on the other. It will cause interference if you have anything with power touching the RCA. It can cause a whinning sound thru the speakers.

That's usually caused by a bad ground, or a body ground in general. A lot of the new OFC wire isn't as bad as it used to be. My power, RCA's, and remote are on the same side and I haven't had a problem. Using good quality wiring makes quite a difference too.

The whining generally always comes more into play when u run multiple Amps.

Make sure your ground is on bare steel. I have had that once, moved my wires, checked my ground, still noise, went back and double checked the ground, sure enough I hadn't sanded the paint off!
