I have installed the air/fuel gauge and have full length ceramic headers and was wondering where to install the o2 sensor. I dont really want to drill and weld on the headers, but if thats where i need to put it i will. Just dont want to destroy the coating if i dont have to.

In the collector is the best place. You can get special O2 sensor retrofit clamps that clamp around the pipe and give you a thread for the O2. But seems like those would eventually leak...

I just drilled a hole in my collector and ground away the Jet-Hot coating. Welded in the sensor bung and then sprayed the bare metal with some high heat ceramic spray paint.
