I'm disappointed you guys have been brainwashed by the so called women's empowerment movement. I think it's pretty obvious a pregnant female should not be standing for 8 hour shifts let alone 10-12 hour shifts doing anything while carrying a fetus. There is no bad guy, there is no good guy, there's only you and me and we just disagree

have you reviewed the evidence and read the transcripts of the trial, if not you do not know what you are talking about, you're just like the ignorant mobs at Furgeson

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

No sir I am not required to read transcripts to trials because I'm Jewish and my lawyers are too. The good ones are*

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

Hold up guys lets not start a fight

Now I do agree a pregnant woman should not be working but I disagree you think they should be let go. Its her choice not the managers.
If you don't mind me asking why did you make this thread?

so religion is forcing you to stay ignorant? That's your choice but you need to stop commenting on issues that you choose to be ignorant of. You also shouldn't be prejudiced of lawyers who are not jewish

Don't get up in a huff, guys -- pencero has had ample opportunity to fully explain his original beef with the company and how it supposedly equates to the company being found guilty of wrongful labor practices, now that he's getting a lot of attention for his other comments I wouldn't be surprised if it's just encouraging him

Reviewing other stuff he's posted -- something about NHTSA on Mississippi highways comes to mind -- this is about par for the course

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

I was just kidding lol. But not about the part where I said the lawsuit is stupid. I would certainly hope women don't take advantage of this lawsuit verdict to impose themselves in employment situations where they shouldn't be putting a fetus in danger or wasting people's time because they can no longer meet the physical demands of their job but based on the lack of integrity I see around me I am virtually 100% certain I could put all chips down that it will happen. I'm not trying to start a huge political argument over it b/c I don't care about the issue very much. I would find it mildly annoying if a pregnant female was causing some service situation to take an extraordinary amount of extra time however. Would I be 'mad' about it: no. I don't think it's a very serious 'issue' if it really even is an issue. Anyway when it comes to DUI people and pregnant women I'm like that Seinfeld episode w/ George dashing for the fire escape. GTFO my way biiitch, its going down!

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

I'm wondering when you were in school how many book reports did you do without reading the book and how many exams you took without taking the course?

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

I really don't agree with your opinion that a pregnant woman shouldn't be standing for 8 hours a day. In most healthy pregnancies doctors put very few restrictions on the expectant mother.

Hey guys lets keep he personal neener neener poopyhead crap out of this, I really don't feel like moderating this fine day. Remember, no politics, be respectful.

Re: AutoZone b*tch slapped with million dollar law suit verd

I'm disappointed in the fact that a company with the billions of dollars it makes in profits each year cant seem to find the funding to pay for Family leave for a pregnant employee. However, I am not surprised, because this is not abnormal anymore...rather it's has become par for the course in most retail corp owned stores. I can say, having been associated at one time for said company, that it would have made different and better arrangements had she not been an actual store manager....( IE, corp office or regional office). Those employees are not required to stand on their feet for 8+ hrs a day without the chance to sit. Sure, she was probably aware of the problem prior to becoming pregnant, but the application and job description of the position does not mention stepping down or retiring due to pregnancy. If a company will not pay for family leave when it is necessary, then it shouldn't hire women to work in the stores. Plain and simple....
