Oh Btw, Just so no one gets confused, the James Garner Baja Cutlass' of the old days were all 2WD, 500 hp Olds powered monsters.

I saw the write up on this car and loved it. But as a machinist I really don't see why you want to be so secretive about the build. Of course there will be others who will want to copy but will they or can they is the key. Its not nascar or drag racing. And teasing is just immature at this age. I say if he can do it then others can figure it out as well. Short of modifying a trailblazer chassis to thrown under it , I can think of a few ways to do it and make it just as nice. Sorry if I piss anyone off but I came here to learn and share what I know. I also live in central pa and I am always willing to help or do work and even allow the use of my shop if they have no means to fix their ride. Isn't this forum about sharing? But still a cool car. But if I wanted all wheel drive I would buy a subaru thingie

lol, subaru thingie. I don't really see the point of being secretive unless he's going to patent and sell kits to do it. Good luck if that's the plan.

lets be honest,
when you brought your g boby did you
care if it was awd?
spinning all 4 wheels?
of course not.... but while it is always nice to see how far someone takes their car to the next level is great and as far as a kit for all wheel drive the legal issues alone would take so much cash and time. But maybe as a offroad kit but then the price alone and mods for those who could not handle them will put a stop to having it done. Full done ready to go under your body kit? Nice but price tag? Not for me. I want to enjoy my car and I never thought about awd.
But I have thought many time about a 4x4 lifted camaro lol. And I have owned three 4x4 vans that I drove offroad and had lots of fun in.
I guess if I try the awd to my cutty I could just pm him? Sorry just bored.
