for a more stock look, I'm going to drill, bush, and tap a stock shifter knob to fit on the QuickSilver.
Now you're talkin'! That must be the old style Quicksilver from way back cuz they come with a much different shift indicator now. I'm probably going to do a custom indicator anyhow. Nice write up! Not many people seem to care when you put all that effort into it, but there are a few of us that are able to save a lot of time and trouble and are thankful.

I have a full write-up on how to put one in a late model GM pickup and make the dash shift indicator work too (over at performance trucks)
thanks for the prop's... Whenever I do anything unique, I like to take a few days, edit pictures, do a proper write-up. I think that's why we're on a forum right?
You've got a good write-up on your's too.

I was originally looking at a MegaShifter, but didn't like the flashy logos all over it. I think started looking at the TCI StreetFighter, which as far as I can tell is identical to the B&M Mega. But I used a QuickSilver in a 2nd Gen Camaro I once had, and liked' simplicity and modest look of it.

Yeah me too. The quicksilver is my fave by far. I've got some crazy ideas for mine, but I might have a chance to buy back that pickup in the link, which could slow my progress on the GP just due to $$ flow
