just started to day in the front pulled wheel wells sway bar shocks and spring waiting for front brackets i am useing re6 in the front with 1/2 lift and 3/8 dumps but i am having a problem with laying the frame up front lower a arms are hitting my spring pockets i am 2 cheep 2 buy new a arms unless i find a great deal on some so might be laying frame untill next winter will post pics soon

there is a hump on my lower arm i just cut the spring pocket so the bag dont rub i have gained about 2in so it should lay out now not sure about my tierods yet i think i have to notch the frame

You could get 2" drop spindles & cut your a-arms right behind the ball joints & raise them up 2 or 3 inches then re weld and there you would have an 4 or 5 inches of drop.

No pics. I'll look for some though. When you cut & raise it you have a 2 or 3 inch gap where the ball joint is higher than it originally was. All you have to do is add steel & gusset it & weld it up. The only thing thats not safe about it would be if the welds were no good.

Here's a couple pics of the a-arm off of a Ranger. Same idea though. If your worried about the tie rods Barely Legal Fabrication sells no notch tie rods for G-Body's & control arms.
