somthing to think about, i have my regal on bags and i have it only sitting on bump stops and not laying frame for a reason, think about going down the road at 60 mph or even 40 and having a bag or line blow out, if you lay frame thats likely the end of your car. i blew a front line a few years ago and i damn near killed my self, i was at 65 trying to race a punk kid in a honda and all od a sudden my front passenger side line blew and it almot turned out real bad, if i layed frame i would have totaled my car. i stuck with setting on factory bump stops and i can tuck the lip of my 20s. i couldnt see the pictures but i hope you are not doing anything that you can not put back to original on a 442.... they are nearly antique and g body values are going up especially the high end ones like a 442

the only reasion i am doing it to a 442 is because that what i have i bought the car for 500 no motor with the paint the way it is put a chevy motor in it and a th400 trans so its not even a 4 speed car anymore so with me buying the car so cheep i dont mind cutting it up a lil bit draging it down the street and also have u ever seen a 442 bagged or as a lowrider probley not but plenty of them donk out also i will propley never sell this car unless the right offer comes up so i dont care about the resale value on it i hope to give it to my son 1 day if it will last that long so i hope in 18 years it will be a CLASSIC CUTLASS 442 DRAGING FRAME DOWN WOODWARD AVE
Just because you bought it cheap does not sound like a good idea in itself. With it bagged you will never get the right offer. That said I support the idea that it is yours enjoy it and do what YOU want. One way to look at it for the purists is its one less to help make yours more valueable.

if it was already that far from original then i guess i can understand. i got my 442 stripped also but i am trying to keep it some what stock, i just say dont do anything that can be reversed. as far as dragging frame i wouldnt do it but thats me, it kills your car and fast. i have had several freinds that bag trucks and those trucks never last more then a few years and then end up destroyed and in the salvage yard and these started out solid
so i got the front done its about 1 inch from laying out on stock 15s went to a car show last week and on my way home ****ed something up in the motor #1 and 2 are not firing wtf looks like a motor rebuild is comming soon not sure of the damage yet pulled the valve covers cap wires plugs for some reasion i think my cam and or lifters are the cause
just been parked for about a mounth now here in a few weeks i am taking the body off the frame going to notch the rear i want to make the frame lay out all the way around then i found some solid body mounts that are 1/2 inch shorther then stock we will see if i can get the rockers to lay or at least close
