Pretty cool build of a bbb my mechanic did for some inspiration. He's now running it in his 70 gs. Said he could have made a little more but they didnt want to make the mopar engines from the previous episodes look bad!

pfffft. Mopar has had the run of the block long enough when it comes to big inch power. The Buicks will rise again!

Crank looks good. Has time last night to take off oil pan. Took off caps to check bearings. Everything checked out. Just looks like some one used an impact with the wrong socket on bolt.

Do you have the bolt off now?

Ok man, good luck to ya. Be careful when ordering. I can't fathom why, but on some sites like summit they have stuff catagorized under the wrong make. Like a Chevy waterpump will say it fits Buick vehicles form the 70s, but does not say if it's for a chevy engine or buick engine. Ya get me?

Called up TA today. 9.50 shipped for a new bolt and washer.... EBay seller wanted 20 bucks for a used one? WTH!

Got bored last night waiting for someone to come pick up a carb I had for sale. I thought I'd give electrolysis a shot to try to remove some rusting from exhaust manifolds. First time doing it. Pretty impressed with results. Only did one side will do other tonight when I get home.
