Hey all, I'm picking up an Olds 455 this coming friday and of course I'm stoked to be finally dumping that weak 260. The 455 will need to be rebuilt so I have been shopping prices for the go fast parts... My question is has anyone used the Procomp aluminum heads and are they any good??

Also what are the options for headers that would fit?

Can't speak to the ProComp heads, but I have Hooker's G body swap specific headers, and I love em.
Fit like a glove, no 10lb persuaders necessary. They're a two piece design, numbers 7 and 8 cylinder tubes go around the framerails and tuck back in near the collectors.
1-7/8's primaries, and 3-1/2" collectors. Can't remember the p/n off hand, but I can find out if you need. They might be a bit pricey, but well worth it IMO.

Procomps for Olds are a great head and they are priced right. I was going that direction with my car until I decided to go with LS power. There are many documented success stories on realoldspower.com Most people recommend buying the heads bare and having a good shop assemble them to ensure no quality issues.
