Haven't been to the track since, but will let everyone know if my 60' changes

wouldn't the lack of weight transfer give you slower times?

I'll let you know when I go to the track. 🙂 I think weight on the rear axle is only one part of the traction equation. Before, there was a momentary "shock" to the rear but it unsprung quickly. With this setup it feels like there is a more gradual lifting of the chassis, not as noticeable "recoil".

It seems harder to spin them now, less wheelspin.

That's not exactly what is happening. The car is separating in the rear, which is a good thing (to a point). The body is lifting and pushing the rearend into the pavement. To further optimize the setup, the front suspension needs to "loosen up", and adjustable rear shocks for the rear to control separation.

Here's my car at the track, the tires have 20lbs of air in them and the 60' was 1.584

Cool pics. 1.5 60' is great

Yeah, I've got v6 springs in the front that make it a bit more bouncy

These things really change the way the car/suspension reacts. I hadn't driven the car all week, and last night I got in and when I shifted into reverse the car lifted up a little. I forgot about that new, weird sensation.

Anti Hop bars - UPDATE

Finally ran the quarter

Only changes were the above-mentioned and a new transmission

MY E.T. was WORSE than before and my trap speed was fairly constant.

I ran 5 passes
best was a 12.8 @ 106.4
three were low 13s
worst was a 13.8 @ 105.8

do you think the new transmission is up the job?...what were your times before?

that is still quick tho...any video?
