My cutlass came with full bench seat . I recently got a set of buckets out of a 87 monte , what do i have to do to put these things in? are they a direct bolt up or will i have to " make " it work. i wanna know what i have to do before my lil project of swapping them turns into a all day thing.

lemme know whats up

If you have a full bench you will need to get split bench or bucket seat brackets. They are both the same but the full bench is different. If you go to a local salvage yard and pull them it shouldnt be too much $$$ but be careful because most of the Gbodies I see in yards around here are rotted out on the front of the bracket.

I tried doing this awhile back..you can put the buckets on the bench seat tracks but your gonna have to muscle and stretch them to fit over the mounting studs on the floor and they will not be adjustable since the bench tracks are spread out wider then buckets.

I would get bucket tracks and put them on buckets so they fit nice and you can adjust them..

the mounting studs in the floor are the same for bench (split bench..not sure about full) and bucket seat cars

HTH

when i pulled the buckets i got the track or brackets or whatever. ive been told i got eveything i need to jus bolt them in but iv'e never did it so im not sure.

like everyone else said , your ok if you had a 60/40 bench in the car, tracks cross over fine for the buckets. I never had a full bench so i can not comment on that. If your planning on putting the shifter to the floor you need the mounting brackets that are tack welded to the floor. A hammer and a good chisel can get them out, or better a sawz all. Measure everything first, i think i was able to get all the correct information from oldspower.com for the location of the brackets.

I have nessasary brackets/braces to complete you installation.25.00 shipped.pm me if interested
