Bucket seat suggestions

Like Bonnewagon said almost any bucket seat 80s-2000's will bolt onto the factory rails.
The seats pictured below are from a 2003ish Pontiac sunfire and were $75 in great condition. They bolted directly onto the factory rails with no modifications needed.
I just used the Gbody seat spacers.

That is why I saved a set of those Sunfire seats from my '99. They are pretty comfortable too. In my 2005 Sunfire I kept the stock seats but added another set of 1995 Buick power seat bases. Bolted right on.

i have 60 40 seat in now so all 4 of those brackets are there people talk about the rails do they come on the camaro seats
It depends. The Firebird seats I used had Firebird bases which would not fit my wagon exactly. The fronts were correct but the rears were way off. I welded up some adapters to make them fit. I also made them taller in the rear as I like to sit as straight up as I can.
those camaro seats look great i have bench seat in my 82 will they bolt up to my floor ?
The floor holes w/nutserts 'should' be there. Look under the carpet. GM likes to be prepared for all the different options available so when they make the body all the attaching points are there. But you will still need the bases from whatever seat you use. Most sellers sell the seats with the bases of the car they came out of. Looking for G-body specific seats and/or bases will be tough. I drove from NYC all the way across New Jersey for my first set of Grand Prix 60/40 power seats to replace my bench. They did in fact bolt right up. The guy did not keep the door mounted controls so I had to fabricate the correct switches. Now THAT was an experience. If none of the seat base hole line up, that is what drills and bolts/nuts/fender washers are for.

Looking to upgrade my bucket seat situation in my 83 el Camino. Currently has bucket seats from a mid 80s Camaro. I kinda hate them for many reasons. Looking for suggestions for a bucket seat that’s economical, fits well and comfortable. Can be aftermarket or out of another vehicle.
OH BOY! you don't want my advice cuz i did a lot of looking around (my situation far diff from anyone else here) and had to settle for refurbs cuz only thing knew would fit 100%.... oh they fit but not for my situation that then led to a $8k suspension replacement &upgrade to lowering. only thing can say if gonna redo old seats the foam ain't soft squishy & comfy as orig. lol
