best place to buy trans?

I recently killed my 700r4 and want to buy a new one. Any ideas on where to get a good stret strip trans? I'd love a super hard shift.

Look at Monster or Bowtie Overdrives. Expect to spend $1300+ for a 700.

I would take the trans to a local transmission shop with a good reputation. If any thing would happen to go wrong with it right away getting the problem taken care of would be easier, since the trans guy is located close to you.

The only trans guy around here strictly does th350's
