I have my El Camino apart replacing the stock single piston brakes with the Blazer dual piston upgrade. My brake pads did NOT come with a hardware kit. I purchased a kit from AutoZone yesterday; it has only small clips labeled "L" & "R" for the ends of the brake pads. There is no metal clip to use for attaching the piston to the inboard pad. Nor is there any type of anti rattle clip?

Using the supplied small clips the pad fits tight into the the caliper pad holder. Is this all I need? is the tightness ok?

Brakes work great! I have posted the 15-7 Chevy Rally wheels and 255-60 tires on the classifieds. I'd like to get these out of my garage.

Russell makes them for G-body cars, but they use cheap fittings. If you want braided hoses, go to a guy that makes them to order, like an Aeroquip dealer. Bring your stock G-body hoses to him and have him make up a set for you using the factory type fittings.
I have the Russell hoses on my car and I'm not particularly thrilled with them....or just use the stock rubber hoses. You can't go wrong.

go to your local hydryloc shop that rebuilds stuff for heavy stuff like bulldosiers and that type and they will make your lines and they are cheaper most of the time
