blower motor 81 regal

UPDATE: It was the blower motor. seems someone had sprayed lube into the motor when it started to tie up. so when I would hit a bump it would jar it just enough to make it work. tc1959 thank you for the diagram it did help.
I still don't have a high speed but am suspecting it may be the high speed relay? Any thoughts on the matter?
I think im gonna be relying on you guys (n Gals) to help me get these electrical gremlins out of this car.
Check the relay connector for burnt terminals and if the old motor had been acting up for awhile you might need a new relay. The resistor is for the lower blower speeds. My Chevy had another connector further up the harness by the rt valve cover that was burnt also, I think the wire was red. I just had to cut it out and splice the wire

That makes sense since the motor should get full power on high, it would not need to go through the reisitor.
