Check the relay connector for burnt terminals and if the old motor had been acting up for awhile you might need a new relay. The resistor is for the lower blower speeds. My Chevy had another connector further up the harness by the rt valve cover that was burnt also, I think the wire was red. I just had to cut it out and splice the wiremy dads 81 regal said:UPDATE: It was the blower motor. seems someone had sprayed lube into the motor when it started to tie up. so when I would hit a bump it would jar it just enough to make it work. tc1959 thank you for the diagram it did help.
I still don't have a high speed but am suspecting it may be the high speed relay? Any thoughts on the matter?
I think im gonna be relying on you guys (n Gals) to help me get these electrical gremlins out of this car.
