There's another product called Trailercoat made by Pettit paint co. that is for boat trailers. It is a urethane like POR-15 but it does not discolor from UV exposure like POR-15 does. Both are 2-part urethanes already mixed in the can that use Oxygen as the catalyst. That's why you MUST re-seal the can with a plastic bag or something similar or the lid stays forever. I store unused product in the freezer. If you wanted a silver/aluminum color on something exposed this is the stuff to use. I bought a new galvanized trailer in 1989 and before it hit the water I painted it with this stuff and recoat it now and them. It still looks like new, no rust anywhere, even though I dunk it in salt water. See?
