The Flowtech header clearance was a problem. Driver's side trying to be inside the steering column shaft. If I raised the engine, gained clearance on driver's side but it pushed passenger side into the AC/Heater box.

Bought a set of Hookers. One engine mount bolt head in the way but it looks like this is my solution.

The Hooker cast turbo manifolds have great clearance and fit great. I have Holley clamshell mounts. I had to remove one bolt on the passenger side, front, top. There is 2 more. I may leave it empty, grind the head shorter or try a button head.

Installed a Racetronix fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure sensor, GM coolant temperature sensor, RPJ throttle cable and had a junkyard Silverado starter rebuilt.

The Holley Mid Mount kit places the power steering reservoir return nipple dangerously close to the steering box.
Removed the reservoir and bought a kit to connect the return directly to the pump.
Then swapped to a remote set up from a Grand National.

Pressure hose was a reproduction piece from Original Parts Group Buick. Then had a local shop cut then crimp on a JIC fitting to connect to the Holley pump.

Is the power steering pump/fittings issue common w/the Holley set-up or is this only a fore/aft issue depending on how things best fit (v.covers @ a/c box/exhaust clearance/etc)? Curious what your thoughts are regarding the clearance issue.

The Holley kit might work if the engine is tilted back a bit more and you are okay with the return hose right up against the steering box. I chose the path of hardship and $$$ to resolve. It was a big change to go to remote kit. There is a kit to change the hole to a 10AN from Earl's, a reproduction Grand National pressure hose that needed 1 end changed to a 37 deg JIC, the GN remote reservoir and bracket and a couple of hoses.

The ac box will not clear forward and up Flowtech 1 3/4" headers. My valve cover clears but I'm not sure about coils yet. Most cars have no HVAC, so this is not usually an issue.

The goal is to have a factory floor shifter and functioning reverse/neutral safety.
The original shifter cable was showing signs of unhappiness when trying to reach the new location of the selector shaft. The 4L80E selector shaft is about 2" back from where the 200 used to be.
Used a B&M 5' cable. Some custom work required inside the car.

When selecting Park to 1st. The original lever was going from 7 o clock to 3 o clock. A cable can not push and pull to 3.
Used another B&M product to relocate the hole. Now it swings from 8 to 4.

Next problem is the linkage that reaches up to the column. With everything 2" back, something will need to be created. Ideas are welcome.

More wasted money with Amazon. The big rubber mounting pad is too big. My mistake on buying without reading. Fits 4 core radiators. Mine is not that wide.
Next is the smaller one but the tab, which I cut off, was centered. Car needs an offset tab which came from Mike's Monte.
Mounted the radiator from Turbo Nasty. Has the connection for the LS steam line but the bottom radiator hose connection is too close to the frame. Threw it on the milling machine at my work. Hopefully it's short enough to clear.
New AC condenser mounted.
