When I saw the title of your post I instantly thought of the drive from Palm springs to Phoenix. It is so so boring and even worse at night......as I'm sure you already know

and where I live we have a warning of freezing rain for the morning so any road that is baking in the sunshine would never be a boring drive for me...

how many speed cameras on that road?

Not many, but the 110 kph speed limit is taken seriously. Apart from anything else most sane people are more concerned with conserving enough fuel to get to the next town. You really don't want to be broken down out there.

Roger.

those roads shouldn't have a speed limit, but I'd be scared to break down.

I heard you have to take the speed limits very serious, my daughter lives in Melbourne, 3 kilometers over I think the fine was $184
