Thank you sir.
I intend to do a thorough cleaning of them before they see any paint.
Thanks again for the information.

Thank you much, guys.
I'm kind of leaning towards the VHT cast silver paint. I'm trying to achieve a natural satin cast aluminum/ cast iron look.. I know cast iron would be more grey than silver.
I have also thought of using header paint, which also has a high heat range. Hopefully, whatever I use will not be affected by brake fluid on the paint.

I have used Eastwood stainless steel paint in a pint can. I like the finish of that, and have used it on the heat exchangers on my old Porsche 914. It seemed to withstand heat and actually cured as it was heated.

Thanks again for your feedback.

I have used clear engine paint to keep the cast metal parts looking like new cast metal. VHT has clear caliper paint..

I chose silver to cover a multitude of sins. One pair was junkyard quality, and the other pair was reman, neither was pristine. The silver makes them look brand-new.

On a completely unrelated note, I'd love to hear how you will deal with the mixed ends - the Malibu brake hose uses SAE reverse flare and the Camaro hoses use metric bubble flare. There are brass adapters, or pull the brake lines from the Camaro axle and rebend them. Or - your plan?

i used braided lines from kore3, they came fitted for inverted flare lines. but you can get adapter fittings, reflare your lines to bubble or reuse the hardlines from the ls1 rear.
