Broken off key in the rear tailgate

Ah heck its Christmas, here's what was "reported".....

Any luck getting the key out? Or getting the entire cylinder out from the gate?

Yes I got the lock open I got the window and Gate open. I purchased new shocks for the window. But the lock will spin the wrong way if you are not careful then its start all over. Not quite sure how to secure the lock mechanism. I could some new hinges though I do not have the correct bolts in the right side.
