I have a 84 regal, I took da front seats out of my brothers 04 avalanche, problem is the tracks are too wide. Is there away 2 get the seats 2 fit? Will take any suggestions!

Take the tracks off your old sits and if they fit bolt them to the new ones.

you can also make your own studs to screw the seats into drill through floorboard or weld some on floorboard?

that not that great of a idea in the event of a crash they will pull thru the floor the best bet is to drill thru the floor put your bolts in and put a piece of flat bar under the car inline with the bolts to go thru one strip for each side

SLICK79WGN is right about that. The problem is that the factory sheet metal on g bodies is really thin, 18 gauge if I'm correct. More than likely, your going to have to fabricate your own set of bucket seat brackets, if you don't already have a set for your car. Just take some 1/4in. thick flat steel and use a torch to bend them to match your floor boards. There should be spots underneath your carpet where they could have mounted buckets and that is where you weld the bracket. You might also have to brace the floorboards for extra strength and protection. I've had to do this on my 80 malibu and on a friends 93 camaro z28. Took a lot of time for my car cause I'm about 6' 4" and had to make lower brackets and mount them a lil further back to give me some clearance.

what I meant is put the flatbar under the car and bolt it in like sandwich the floor pan with two stips per seat running front to back

That'll work too. Either way you go, make sure there is some kind of reinforcement because the floor pan alone is not enough to save you in a wreck. Play ejecto seato 8)
