bucket seats?

i know to some of you this may be a dumb question, but why does everyone want the bucket seats unless you are doing some type of racing i dont understand. i mean i do a little bit on the strip with all the daddys wallet having honda boys but my 60-40 works just fine for that maybe its just a prefrence. but i like my 60-40 so just in case i need that extra seat i have it.

I really just think it looks better and like having the floor shifter with console.

Mine is a full bench if I have to put new floor mounts in anyway I am going with buckets. To me they are more comfortable and I like the console shift

Bucket seats and console is just more sporty than the old man 60/40 split bench with shifter on the column. Plus they are more rare than the split bench and harder to find.

i like buckets with out a console and just a 4 speed coming thru my floor..

I like a bench seat with a manual trans and a nice Hurst T handle shifter. Especially with a rubber mat instead of carpet!

Buckets just look better and having the shifter on the floor adds a nice look. The bench is alright (what I have), but buckets are just what most people want.
