Hey everybody. I've got a question for all of the guys who have swapped Buick V8s into G-bodies. I have a 350 I'm going to swap in in place of my 307. I have accessory brackets and frame pads but I don't have G-body 231(3.8L)V6 engine mounts. Supposedly the V8 is a '76 but I'm unsure as to whether it came from a Century or a LeSabre. The engine mounts from whatever car it was in are still on the engine. My question is whether or not Century or LeSabre engine mounts can be used in place of stock G-body V6 mounts. Do they all have different dimensions or is it only the frame pads that are different from car to car?
I suppose I'll ask this on V8Buick.com as well.

Are you putting a buick 350 in the car? If so, I believe that you would need the brackets that bolt to the frame as I am unsure that they are the same as the Olds Brackets. If it is an Olds 350, then it is a direct drop in. I have some knowledge of this, not a ton on the buick side. But, I am needing the frame brackets for an Olds v8 for my car as I am putting a 403 in my 84 Cutlass. It originally had a 3.8L then a Fuel Injected SBC. But the chevy started knocking and I located the 403. Best of Luck.

Thanks. I do have the Buick engine frame pads. I guess I just need the right engine mounts so I can start getting the Olds out.
