Yeah, my cutlass rallyes are 14's...they fit the car with the bfg's, but i agree they look small.Big fan of the Buick and Cutlass rally wheels. Shame they ever made them 14". IMO they just always looked too small.
Agreed! The bfg's on mine are 245/60's. When i bought the car back in '01 it had old school 215/65's i believe with whitewalls. The first set of wheels that I replaced on my wagon were a set of 14" Olds Cutlass rallyes with a set of Michelin tires. It actually drove pretty nice.
The 14" wheels seem to get lost in the wheelhouses. Although not quite as bad with a taller tire...70 series.
Same here, thinking about making a glass top coffee table with them because I like the look but don't think they would fetch much.Agreed! The bfg's on mine are 245/60's. When i bought the car back in '01 it had old school 215/65's i believe with whitewalls.
I luckily even have a full size spare in my shed with a crap whitewall tire on it. I keep debating on whether to sell off the 14's, but i would probably regret it.
I was looking at some 17" wheels for a future upgrade for the Regal when it comes along far enough and one of the first rims I looked at was the AR VN501, I think they have great 5 spoke styling with a vintage look and are also affordableThat's why i have these wheels sitting in boxes waiting on the car to get closer to the finish line. They have that vintage rallye look, but in a 17x7 and 17x8 instead.View attachment 61432
I've always loved the vintage rallye look. Don't get me wrong, the telstars i had looked smokin on the cutlass....they just won't fit the bill for my overall vision which is more of a "modified stock" appearance of how i think GM would have done a cutlass in this era.I was looking at some 17" wheels for a future upgrade for the Regal when it comes along far enough and one of the first rims I looked at was the AR VN501, I think they have great 5 spoke styling with a vintage look and are also affordable
